Following the success of the first two editions of ‘Singham’ (2011), the director-actor duo Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn are set to reunite for their eleventh film together, ‘Singham Again’ and it is learnt that Rohit Shetty have pulled off a casting coup for the film.
While Ajay will reprise his role as Singham, director Rohit Shetty already stated last year during the promotions of ‘Cirkus’ (2023) that Deepika Padukone will play a female cop in the film. It is also well known that Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh will have extensive cameos in the film as Sooryavanshi and Simmba.
Now, it has been reported that Vicky Kaushal might join the cast. If reports are to be believed, Vicky Kaushal and Rohit Shetty have been in discussions for ‘Singham Again’ for quite some time now and Rohit is currently developing a character for Vicky in the film, which will be distinct from the other cop characters of the cop universe.
Ajay will finish up all of his other commitments before joining the ‘Singham Again’ set. The film is expected to go on floors on August this year.
