Remind the date – 20th January, 2023. Get your works done and keep the day all clear as Sidharth Malhotra is coming to present a chapter from India’s history in his upcoming action film, ‘Mission Majnu’. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna opposite Sidharth. Interestingly, ‘Mission Majnu’ was supposed to be Rashmika’s debut in Bollywood, before ‘Goodbye’ (2022).
The makers dropped much awaited teaser of ‘Mission Majnu’ last week. The teaser begins showing the aftermath 1971 India-Pakistan war and how Pakistan was planning a nuclear attack on India to take revenge. But they had no idea about the power of India’s RAW agents. The heroic jump of Sidharth from the train makes it looks quite thrilling. He is seen ready to do anything for his motherland. We also get a glimpse of Rashmika Mandanna as a bride in her wedding sequence with Sidharth.
The teaser has got a thumbs up from netizens and they seem excited to watch their favourite Sidharth again in a different role.
The makers have revealed that ‘Mission Majnu’ is going to have an OTT release, on Netflix. The news disappointed fans and many can be seen commenting why a film of this scale will not see a release in cinemas.
