‘Brahmāstra’, India’s rare superhero film with never-seen-before VFX, garnered massive attention, love and critical reviews all over the world with its theatrical release on September 9. It was no wonder that this film, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Shah Rukh Khan, Nagarjuna and Dimple Kapadia was able to collect Rs. 425 Crore at the box office worldwide.
And now, ‘Brahmāstra’ is all set to premiere on OTT with Disney+ Hotstar, on November 4. The makers have officially announced the news on social media, which read, “Welcome to the Astraverse! A second chance to witness the power of love and light, and their fight against darkness. Disney+ Hotstar wields the power of the mighty astras with the digital premiere of this year’s biggest blockbuster – ‘Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva’.”
Both producer Karan Johar of Dharma Productions and director Ayan Mukerji unveiled the news on their respective social media handles. They also gave their good wishes on Diwali and released a special teaser of ‘Brahmāstra’.
While Johar wrote, “The biggest Hindi movie of 2022 from the big screens to your big hearts and now your screens! Experience the world of #Brahmāstra only on #disneyplushotstar on November 4.”
Mukerji wrote, “BRAHMĀSTRA & DISNEY+HOTSTAR From Nov. 4th, ‘Brahmāstra’ begins a new journey as it becomes available for Streaming on Disney+Hotstar! We have continued to work on the movie since its theatrical release to refine the movie technically for your phones, televisions and computers… added a few subtle things to the movie… and I am excited for Brahmāstra to be in your homes soon so it can be experienced afresh in the most convenient manner !!! Happy Diwali Everyone!!!”
