The journey of fashionista Aashi Adani

With mainline marketing losing focus and influencer marketing being the next big thing, becoming a content creator in 2021 – is one of the most difficult decisions to make. While the glamour and fame that follows is something everyone cherishes, what also comes with it is the burden of establishing yourself as a honest true to one-self creator. Aashi Adani, currently a fashion and beauty content creator took this decision about five years back, while discovering a clothing venture with her best friend. Starting off with an online shopping page on Instagram with her best place, to an online blog about fashion, Aashi discovered her passion towards fashion and beauty and decided to pursue it.

She started her fashion blog in April 2016, called ‘Dress It Out’ where she wrote about her favourite trends and how one could incorporate those in their everyday outfits. Her blog gained a lot of popularity from young college going girls like herself who were looking for pocket friendly but trendy pieces. Looking at the lack of affordable and beginner friendly makeup, she started covering that on her blog too. In just two months of blogging, she worked with a renowned fast fashion Indian brand ‘Stalk Buy Love.’ Within her first six months she collaborated with some major brands like ‘Jean Claude Biguine’, ‘Zivame’, ‘Bewakoof’ and many more. She also expanded to the beauty genre by sharing quick and easy to follow makeup tutorials on Instagram which were very well received by her audience. However, the journey had just begun and the fruits of success were far away from reaping. What followed is pitching to brands, coordinating for deals and the biggest task of them all, constantly ensuring you are relevant on social media!

Quality content is something Aashi has never compromised on, even on days she is overworked. She believes it is an essential pillar of who she is and the quality her audience deserves. Four years later, with the industry saturated with influencers, Aashi still manages to stand out with her authenticity and dimpled smile which her audience loves. She’s upped her content game and has recently started some really fancy beauty videos on her Instagram which include super glamourous looks with fun transitions, green screen make up and she also recreates popular AR Filters with make up which have hit over. After gaining massive popularity on Instagram, she also started her own YouTube channel in 2019. She does a lot of helpful videos and super honest reviews about launches in the industry on the platform. These videos feel like a whole package about everything one needs to know if they wish to pursue content creation as a full time profession. It also makes you realize the kind of hard work that goes behind those pretty pictures.

With over 1.6K followers on Instagram and over 27.8K subscribers on YouTube, there is no stopping her. Over the course of the past five years, Aashi has worked with some of the most renowned brands across the world including – Nykaa, Garnier, MAC, Myntra, Amazon, Dove, Clean & Clear, Loreal, Lakme and many more.

Her content has a lot of people hooked to her, including us and we can’t wait to see what else she surprises us with.
