Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has been one of the most successful music tours among Hollywood artists till now. It commenced on March 17, 2023 in Glendale, US and is set to conclude on August 17, 2024 in London, England.

According to the latest Forbes report, the tour has grossed nearly $110 million. In fact, the tour has potentially helped Taylor reach the status of a billionaire. Her net worth currently is $740 million and thanks to Eras Tour, it could go upto $780 million.

On Monday, while wrapping up its US leg, Swift expressed her gratitude to her crew members for putting in a lot of hard work. Michael Scherkenbach, founder and CEO of Denver, a Colorado-based Shomotion trucking company, told CNN that Taylor gifted a hefty amount to the truck drivers who did heavy lifting on the roads. Each one of them has received a sum of $100,000.

He said, “My company handles transportation of the stage and structure, pretty much the skeleton that everything hangs on at the concert venue.”

Although Scherkenbach declined to disclose how many of his staff received the six-figure bonus, he said it was a total of nearly fifty members of the combined trucking crews. “These men and women, they live on the road. They sleep during the day and work all night”, he said. “It’s a gruelling task. They leave their families, young children for weeks. For Taylor’s tour, they have been away from home for 24 weeks.”
