Last year, on November 8, Rhea Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor announced their second film together, ‘The Crew’ with Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon and Diljit Dosanjh. The film is said to be female-centric. Rajesh Krishnan, who previously directed ‘Lootcase’ (2020), will direct the film.
The film, was announced to go on floors in February 2023, got delayed due to pre-production work.
The comedy thriller begins filming today, and this news was shared by Ektaa R. Kapoor’s production house, Balaji Motion Pictures. By sharing the news, the production house wrote, “#TheCrew ready to take off Shoot begins today!”

‘The Crew’ is set against the backdrop of the struggling airline industry. The film is about three women who work and hustle to make it in life. However, their destinies lead to unwarranted situations, and they get caught in a web of lies.
The film is written by Nidhi Mehra and Mehul Suri and will be released theatrically later this year.
