Taapsee Pannu has been having a fantastic run at the movies off late. Her last movie, ‘Game Over’ has received a lot of critical acclaim.
The actress has been working hard in the south for a long time but it is only after movies like ‘Baby’ (2015), ‘Pink’ (2016), ‘Naam Shabana’ (2017), ‘Manmarziyaan’ (2018), ‘Mulk’ (2018), ‘Badla’ (2019) and ‘Game Over’ (2019), Taapsee has established herself as a brand in Bollywood. Not just that, the kind of roles that she has essayed so far in her career in Bollywood, have given her the image of a quintessential feminist character whom women look upto when it comes to taking a stand for any cause.
‘Mulk’ (2018) by Anubhav Sinha has been a game changer for Taapsee and hence she is never shy to show her love and respect for her ‘guru’ (mentor), Anubhav Sinha.
Anubhav Sinha recently directed ‘Article 15’ with Ayushmann Khurrana. Taapsee has appreciated the movie a lot on social media. But the same social media has its share of cons as well, the biggest being trolls. She has a history of getting back at her trolls but perhaps this man wasn’t really aware of Taapsee’s antics. So when he messed up with her again and questioned Anubhav Sinha on his selection of Taapsee in his movies and tried to ridicule her acting skills, the response was savage.
Well, although Taapsee might encourage the troll to try again to put her down, but in reality when a woman has such an indomitable spirit, it is next to impossible to shame and put her down.
