The makers of ‘SSMB28’ dropped a surprise for Mahesh Babu fans. On Sunday evening, the team shared the actor’s first look from the film on their Twitter handle. The post said, “The Reigning Superstar @urstrulymahesh in an all new MASS avatar is all set to meet you with #SSMB28 in theatres from 13th January 2024 worldwide! #SSMB28FromJAN13.”

The film will release in theaters on Sankranthi, that is, January 13, 2024.
The fans of actor termed the look of their favourite star as vintage and said the the poster is giving vibes of ‘Khaleja’ (2010) and ‘Pokkiri’ (2006), which also had Mahesh Babu in the lead role.
Tentatively titled as ‘SSMB28’, the film is directed by Trivikram. The film also features Pooja Hegde and Sreeleela in important roles. It marks second collaboration between Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde.
‘SSMB28’ is produced by Haarika And Hassine Creations and Sithara Entertainment, while S Thaman is composing the music for the film. The National Award winning editor Navin Nooli is also a part of the film’s team.
