Somy Ali was to make her debut with Salman Khan with ‘Buland’ in 1992 but it got discontinued because of some unresolved problems with the producers. The now 45 year-old activist quotes the movie as a “metaphor” of their relationship. The ‘Aao Pyaar Karen’ (1994) actress was a new-comer in the industry when ‘Buland’ was supposed to be filmed.
Somy Ali left Bollywood ages ago but when it comes to talking about Salman Khan, she doesn’t hold herself back. She mentioned that she hasn’t talked to Salman Khan in five years. She repeatedly tells that they have moved on from their 8-year-old relationship and living life in their own ways. They are happy without each other and that’s how it is supposed to be. The old flame doesn’t know how many girlfriends Salman had after she left his life but anyway, she wishes him the best. She also praises Salman Khan’s ‘Being Human’ Foundation, that it’s doing really well and the work they are doing is extravagant.
In a previous interview with Zoom, she said that Salman Khan cheated on her and that’s why they broke up 20 years ago and Somy still seems furious about the fact that Salman was unfaithful to her.
