Shilpa Shetty Kundra had injured her leg severely while shooting for Rohit Shetty’s upcoming web series, ‘Indian Police Officer’. She had announced the dreadful news on social media by posting a picture of her in wheelchair, wearing a cast.

Although the accident couldn’t break her spirit, as she had wrote, “Out of action for 6 weeks, but I’ll be back soon stronger and better. Till then, dua mein yaad rakhiyega (Keep me in your prayers). Prayers always work. With gratitude, Shilpa Shetty Kundra.” Reacting to the post, her sister Shamita Shetty commented, “My munki strongest.”

It’s been two months now and Shilpa is still having physiotherapy sessions. Today, she has shared a video of her, while doing her exercises with the help of her doctors. She seemed quite cheerful and also cheering up her little daughter. While trying to walk slowly and stepping on the stairs, she seemed weeping off her tears and saying, “I think I’m gonna cry” and hence, the video made all her fans’ eyes moist too.

She expressed about her struggle since two months and how she endured the pain. She wrote, “It’s been two months today…Since my injury. Let me tell you honestly, it’s not been easy. The mental agony has been as severe as the physical pain. For someone who’s a workaholic and a fitness addict like me, these past eight weeks have had its own share of frustration, anger, sadness, and helplessness. But I found a very strong source of motivation to get better as quickly from my daughter.”

The actress has also shared how her daughter Samisha helped her to cheer up and to get better soon. She wrote, “Having Samisha around me for every physiotherapy session. It was only as time passed that I realised how she was waiting eagerly for me to ‘be able to pick her up’ again. Those smiles, hugs, little sweet nothings, and kisses were all I needed on some days.”

At the end of her note, Shilpa expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her doctors, Dr. Kalpesh Ghelani and Dr. Nityanand Chauhan for literally holding her hands while walking and helping her through this whole process with much care, love and patience. She also sent good wishes to all her fans and well-wishers.
