The trailer of the action thriller ‘Bloody Daddy’ was released today afternoon. The film presents lead actor Shahid Kapoor as a suit-clad assassin who embarks on his deadliest battle yet.

Shahid Kapoor seems to be in his most menacing avatar till date, all thanks to director Ali Abbas Zafar, who has presented the actor stylishly as well as differently. The trailer also introduces the antagonists of the film, that is, Ronit Roy and Sanjay Kapoor.

‘Bloody Daddy’ is the story of Sumair (Shahid Kapoor) who faces off against Gurugram’s white-collar drug lords, deceitful friends, a ruthless crime boss and both corrupt and honest cops all during one fateful night in the midst of a post-COVID party apocalypse. The action-packed spectacle is written by Ali Abbas Zafar and Aditya Basu and produced by Jio Studios, AAZ Films and Offside Entertainment in partnership with Vermilion World.

‘Bloody Daddy’ is scheduled to have its free, exclusive premiere on Jio Cinema on June 9. Ahead of the film’s release, the makers revealed the action-packed trailer at a grand event in Mumbai with Shahid Kapoor and the director in attendance.

Shahid Kapoor talked about his unconventional part as he said, “I wanted to do an out-and-out action picture and I was waiting for the right one to come my way. I knew this was the project when Ali approached me. It’s intense, high-octane, action-packed and exhilarating and is especially made for a digital audience. Ali is a true expert of this genre of films and working with him on this project has been incredibly gratifying for me. We absolutely adore the product that we have made together and look forward to see how the public reacts to it.”
