Helmed by Srijit Mukherji, the trailer of the biopic of Mithali Raj, ‘Shabaash Mithu’, is out. It is a saga of the unheard tale of the woman in blue. The female cricketers in our country are definitely not as famous as the male cricketers and this biopic is about their identity crisis.
TaapseePannu plays the character of Mithali Raj who is bold, stubborn and knows her game. The trailer shows a quick journey from her childhood to her becoming the captain of the Indian cricket team.
The sports drama seems emotional and beautiful. The movie is about Mithali’s journey and struggles not only in the field but outside the field. Being a Tamilian, she faces a hard time adjusting to her co-fellows. The trailer showcases it all.
Shabaash Mithu will be out in theatres on July 15.
