Actor Sandeep Bhattacharya, who has been predominantly working in the Bengali film industry for a decade now, has acted in various genres of films and webseries.
In Raj Mukherjee’s upcoming project ‘Bichaar’, Sandeep will be seen as the protagonist. Raj Mukherjee directorial ‘Bichaar’ will be showing the evil effectss of cast system in our society and how it leads to the destruction of lives. The role revolves around the characters named Sagar and Moyna who falls under this evil practises of the caste system and what happens next forms the crux of the social drama.
The role of Sagar will be played by Sandeep and while sharing his thoughts he explained, “I can say that playing this sort of character was a challenge for me because nowadays Bengali films are treated in a different way and the plots of the recent films in tollywood are treated in a creative way. The audiences are loving a content based script. So ‘Bichaar’ is a same sort of movie and existance of this caste system can ruin many lives and the main part is love is eternal. No caste system can seperate it. The experience was really nice.”
The other casts includes Biswath Basu, Biswajit Chakraborty, Manoj mitra, Sameer Biswas, Parimal Mistry, Taranga Sarkar, Amit Ganguly, Mohan Murali Shaw, Swagata Basu and Rumpa Sarkar.
