The Delhi High Court issued a legal notice during the hearing of a complaint over the upcoming film ‘Ruslaan’, to actor Jagpathi Babu, producer K Radhamohan and Salman Khan’s brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma. All the accused were given notice during the plea hearing by Satyabrata Panda, Additional District Judge, Patiala House Court, who also requested that they submit a response within a week.

A hearing on the subject has been scheduled for June 9. Through their attorney Rudra Vikram Singh, social activist Jagdish Sharma and actor Raajveer Sharma sought an injunction to halt the distribution of Radhamohan’s film ‘Ruslaan’, in which Aayush Sharma plays the lead role.

It has been claimed that ‘Ruslaan’ is a copy of the original film ‘Ruslaan’ (2009), which was directed by Jagdish Sharma and starred Raajveer Sharma. According to the plea, the accused plagiarized the dialogue and plot of the Aayush Sharma starrer. The allegations surfaced following the release of the film’s teaser on April 21.

Aayush made his Bollywood debut with the romantic comedy ‘Loveyatri’ (2018), co-starring Warina Hussain. The Abhiraj Minawala-directed film, which was produced by Salman Khan, did not do well at the box office.

He also appeared alongside Salman Khan and Mahima Makwana in the action-thriller ‘Antim: The Final Truth’ (2019), directed by Mahesh Manjrekar.
