Though there is quite some time for Yash Raj Films’ ‘Sultan’ to arrive, the promotional campaign for the Salman Khan – Anushka Sharma starrer has already kick-started with the release of two teaser trailers that have taken the social media by storm. While the first teaser featured Salman Khan as Haryana ka sher Sultan, the second one gave us a glimpse of Aarfa, the character played by Anushka Sharma. The latter was a treat for Anushka’s fans as they got to see her in a never seen before avatar of a wrestler. Yes, there was some disappointment in store for those who were looking forward to seeing Salman Khan in the trailer.

What a lot of people missed out on observing was the fact that the teaser which introduced Aarfa to the audience, featured Khan’s voice in it. The male voice speaking in chaste Haryanvi accent was that of Salman Khan. The reason some people failed to identify the superstar’s voice was that they had never heard him speak Haryanvi.

Helping him understand the nuances of the Haryanvi lingo was actor Rahul Bagga. Rahul, who was last seen in ‘Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho’, had a long standing association with Yash Raj Films what with him playing the lead role in two television shows produced by them. Sources suggest that Rahul trained Salman for as long as eight months and would help him out with the dialogues while the shoot was in progress. Going by the voiceover in the teaser, one feels Salman Khan has done a pretty neat job of mastering the language.
