Regina Cassandra turns philanthropist and joins Democratic Sangha

Actress Regina Cassandra is ruling headlines for her IMDb feature, brilliant performances back-to-back in ‘Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke’, ‘Farzi’ and ‘Rocket Boys 2’ this year. The actress has now branched out and become a philanthropist by joining Democratic Sangha as a co-founder and js participating in the rural women’s leadership program.

The session on reproductive health and menstrual cycle was recently conducted in Chakaliguda village in Telangana. The flagship Rural Women’s Leadership Program works to build leadership of women at the grassroots. It empowers women to become advocates of development and change in the village. The program is a capacity building platform in twelve key areas for women at the grassroots. It is a one year program and the rural women are trained in one module each for twelve months.

Cassandra was also featured in IMDb’s Popular Indian Celebrities at fourth position with the biggest names of Bollywood. She has the film ‘Flashback’ in her kitty. The poster of her look and the trailer was released recently. Audiences are looking forward to her yet another promising character.
