After ruling the big screen with numerous roles and being reputed for not being afraid to try new characters in her career, Raveena made her digital debut with ‘Aranyak’ last year, where she again slew with a quite unlike role as Kasturi Dogra. This is a role that magnificently redefined her career. She has revealed her divergent experience with ‘Aranyak’, which has been the talk of the town. In her career, she has always wooed us with her charms and acting and has always gone after roles that leave a mark, rather than being forgettable.

Released on the streaming giant Netflix, the whodunit crime thriller, ‘Aranyak’ which has a different storyline, was lapped by audiences. She has also received rave reviews from critics for her role, which is of a fierce cop. The success of the web series has put her in the top position of OTT stars. The OTT space is considered to be very competitive and this is a big achievement.

The National award-winning actress is always conscious of her characters and therefore, wants to set an example after the huge success of her digital debut as she has a lot of potentials to showcase her talent in a wide range of characters.

Raveena shared, “My digital debut was a strategic move. Stories with strong female characters are my forte and films which are content-driven attract me the most. I have to admit rejecting nearly 20 scripts as I did not want to be typecast. I would like the audience to remember me for my versatility. It is easy to say yes but you must be bold to say no.”

Raveena is currently basking in the success of her last film ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ (2022). She will reunite with Sanjay Dutt for the film ‘Ghudchadi’. The actress will also announce her new project soon.
