Ranveer Singh launches the victory song – ‘Malhari’ from ‘Bajirao Mastani’ in Bhopal with massive fanfare


In a grand event today in Bhopal, Ranveer Singh launched ‘Malhari’, the victory song from Eros International and Bhansali Productions’ magnum opus ‘Bajirao Mastani’ with huge fanfare. A royal victory march was arranged for Ranveer who arrived in style in a buggy along with a bandwagon of 50 Dhol and 50 Tutari players. A massive crowd of 12,000 people cheered and hooted for him as he performed to the song that left audiences wanting for more.
After the stupendous popularity of ‘Gajanana’, ‘Deewani Mastani’ and ‘Pinga’, comes yet another visual spectacle choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. ‘Malhari’ that signifies victory and celebration, comes at a stage in this period drama where Ranveer Singh as Bajirao, motivates his soldiers building confidence and morale in them for future battles. As an expression of happiness, Bajirao and his soldiers break out into ‘Malhari’, forgetting all hierarchy and celebrate yet another big victory.
