Now the latest development is that Ranbir Kapoor, too, has pledged to lend his support to this epic, which is based on Ramayana. The ten thousand tickets, that he will donate, will be made available to the NGOs across the Hindi belts. The makers confirmed the news.

‘Adipurush’ is touted as the costliest Indian films of all time, reportedly made on a massive budget of Rs. 500 crores. The film will see a release in 2D as well as 3D versions.

Talking about Ranbir’s association with T-Series, he will be seen in their next film ‘Animal’, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film also features Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna in key roles.

Interestingly, as per reports, Ranbir will also be seen essaying the part of Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s rendition of Ramyana while Alia Bhatt will essay Sita Maa. For the role of Raavan, the makers are reportedly in advanced talks with actor Yash. If all goes as planned, the film will go on floors by this year and will release during Diwali next year.
