News is that Radhika Apte will be a part of the jury and will be judging the 37th edition of the Cairo International Film Festival.

The actor who shot to fame in ‘Badlapur’, was applauded for her brilliant performance in the film. Knowing that Radhika is an award winning stage & film actor, the makers thought that Radhika would be the perfect choice to be put amongst the jury members.

‘Hunter’, ‘Ahalya’ and ‘Chokherbali’ which immediately followed after ‘Badlapur’, proved Radhika’s versatility through powerful performances which the actress attempted to do with each of the above.

Talking about the same, Radhika shares, “The experience has been absolutely lovely! Considering it’s my first time at this festival, it’s been a special one. Watching several kinds of cinema from across the world is very enriching and at the same time it’s a tough job to take a call over it. As an actor also it’s been a great learning experience and I hope to come again next year!”
