Rightly hailed as ‘Nation’s Hero’, actor and philanthropist, Sonu Sood has previously provided relief to hundreds during the most difficult period during this whole pandemic and has never once backed down from.

So it only comes naturally for Sonu Sood to do something philanthropic for his birthday. The actor has turned 49 years old today, July 30 and undertook the mission of educating underprivileged children through upgrading existing schools and building a new school at Kankuri, near Shirdi.

This initiative has never been done before by anyone. When asked about his noble gesture, Sood replied,  “The main plan is to provide education to the kids from tribal and Covid affected familes who had to forgo education due to unforseen circumstances.”

Apart from providing education, the another aim of the project is to create employment opportunities for the villagers and improve the literacy rate in the tribal areas. The project will be part of the Sood Charity Foundation that has been working actively, since 2020.

The actor has often dedicated his endorsements and funds to multiple projects that help bring light to the plights of common man as well as help facilitate a better lifestyle for them. We wish Sonu Sood and his philanthropic adventures a long, happy and successful year ahead and helping those in distress.
