Gear up guys! Anurag Basu is coming back with another striking story, after gaining immense positive reviews for the dark comedy ‘Ludo’ two years back in 2020. This time Basu will bring Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan together and the trio will be working for the first time. The upcoming film titled, ‘Metro…In Dino’ is a sequel to Basu’s classic film ‘Life In A Metro’, which was released more than a decade ago, in 2007.

‘Life In A Metro’ is a story about nine people, not related to each other, living and working in the same city, Mumbai and how their lives change drastically when their fates intertwine with each other. However, they are determined to rise above their emotions. The film is considered to be one of the most iconic films. The songs are still evergreen and cherished by fans.

Besides Aditya and Sara, ‘Metro..In Dino’ also stars Anupam Kher, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Konkona Sen Sharma and Ali Fazal. The film was officially announced yesterday, on December 7, by Anurag Basu and the actor duo on their respective social media handles. They shared an exciting group picture, which includes Anurag Basu, Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, T-Series head Bhushan Kumar and music director Pritam Chakraborty in it.

The excitement has doubled up as Pritam Chakraborty will be again composing the songs in ‘Metro…In Dino’. In the previous film ‘Life In A Metro’, Pritam had given unforgettable songs like “Alvida”, “Baatein Kuch Ankahein Si”, “In Dino”, “O Meri Jaan”, “Rishtey” and “Kar Salaam”. These songs still touch the core of our hearts.
