Ekta Kapoor’s next with Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao titled ‘Mental Hai Kya’ has been facing controversies since ever.
From things like Kangana being apparently upset because she has to share the film poster with her co-star Rajkummar Rao to the title of the film coming under scrutiny because it apparently is taking a dig at the ‘mentally challenged’ human beings, Ekta and team have heard it all.
And now there were issues and a lot of unnecessary confusion as to the final release date of the film because it has already been delayed.
But not to worry. Ekta Kapoor has finally broken the ice on this and has come up with a clarification on the release date of the film that puts all the rumours aside. The final release date of the film is July 26, 2019.
As she decided to slam all haters, she tweeted,
Well now that there remains no confusion about the film release date, it will be interesting to see how the film pans out after release. The film marks Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao sharing screen space for the first time.
While Rajkummar has behind him a series of successful movies like ‘Stree’, Kangana would be looking forward to turn her fortunes once again. Her last film stirred a lot of controversies. From the fall out with Sonu Sood to altercation with the director, Krish Jagalamurthy, the movie had seen it all.
And with her sister picking at some star or the other almost every day, Kangana would be looking to let her work do the talking this time.
