Numerous artistes from different countries have come to Bollywood and made a name for themselves. Their love for Hindi cinema and knowledge of the kind of reach and exposure it gives to an artist, brought them all the way to India and they made a mark with their talent. In spite of the tension between India and Pakistan and the recent incident involving Ghulam Ali, it is heartening to see artistes coming down to India to showcase their skills and spreading a message of peace and unity between the two countries.

Mawra Hocane, a popular name in Pakistan who has featured in several television shows and films in the neighbouring country, is all set to announce her arrival in Hindi films with ‘Sanam Teri Kasam.’ A romantic drama, which has been directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru (Lucky – No Time For Love and ‘I Love NY’), has newcomer Harshavardhan Rane playing Mawra’s love interest.

Mawra was in news earlier this year for voicing her support for ‘Phantom’, which was banned in Pakistan. Besides ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’, one hears Mawra has signed two more Hindi films which are expected to be announced soon. Will Hocane, a self-confessed Ranbir Kapoor fan, find her feet in Bollywood? One has to wait till January 22, 2016 to figure that out as that is when the film is scheduled to hit the theatres.
