Gurmmeet Singh’s series, Masoom, directed by Mihir Desai is a story of a young woman who tries to solve her mother’s murder mystery. Boman Irani, Manjari Fadnis and Samara Tijori are seen in pivotal roles. The series is a thriller and it begins with the death of a teenager’s mother and she suspects her father to be the murderer.
There are a lot of mysterious elements in the series, as indicated by the trailer. The daughter who suspects the father to be the murderer is in therapy and that also adds a nice touch.
Mihir Desai stated about the trailer, “A daughter’s hunt to know the truth when her whole family tries to conceal it is where the story of Masoom begins. Her mother’s untimely death becomes a catalyst in unraveling the secrets of the family. I am happy to have worked with Boman Irani and Samara Tijori, who portray a poignant father-daughter relationship.”
This series will mark BomanIrani’s digital debut. Masoom will be released on Disney Plus Hotstar on June 17.
