After making a successful comeback in Bollywood films, Madhuri Dixit is all set to make her digital debut. Netflix had announced the original series ‘Finding Anamika’ last year. However, after dropping the trailer Karan Johar renamed the series ‘The Fame Game’ and announced it along with a new poster.
Karan took to Instagram to share this news. He wrote, “There is always a hidden truth behind the curtain of fame and stardom. What is this truth in the life of Bollywood’s biggest star Anamika Anand? Know more soon. ‘The Fame Game’ series premieres on 25th February, only on Netflix! #TheFameGame” along with the poster. The poster shows Madhuri Dixit in the center along with her co-stars Sanjay Kapoor, Manav Kaul, Lakshvir Saran and Muskkaan Jaferi around her in the background.
In the series, Madhuri will be playing the role of Anamika Anand, a superstar who vanishes with a trace. It is directed by Bijoy Nambiar and Karishma Kohli. Manav Kaul, Sanjay Kapoor, Lakshvir Saran, Suhasini Muley and Muskkaan Jaferi will also be seen in pivotal roles.
Madhuri Dixit was last seen in ‘Kalank’ (2019). She was also the judge of the dance reality show ‘Dance Deewane’.
