“Love Games is a relaunch vehicle for me” – Tara Alisha Berry

Tara Alisha Berry was noticed by critics for her performance in ‘Mastram’ and ‘The Perfect Girl’ but these films did not make much of an impact at the box office and was unnoticed by a large section of the audience. However, things could change with ‘Love Games’, her new film co-produced by Vishesh Films and T-Series, which is making all the right noise. The trailer has amassed a huge number of views on YouTube and the songs are playing all over the air. In this interview, the chirpy actress talks about being re-launched, bagging a three film deal with a big production house and working with a seasoned director like Vikram Bhatt.

Your performance in ‘Mastram’ and ‘The Perfect Girl’ was appreciated by those who saw it but these films did not really manage to reach out to a large audience. ‘Love Games’ has been backed by heavyweights like Vishesh Films and T-Series. Do you consider this film to be a re-launch of sorts for you?
Love Games is definitely a relaunch vehicle for me. Also, my look is completely different from the ones in my previous films. The platform that this film has given me is bigger than anything that I have done earlier. I hope more people see my work and recognise me. That will enable me to do the kind of work I want to do. Both T-Series and Vishesh Films are huge brands. It definitely helps to have such big names attached to a film as the audience have a certain amount of faith in them.
