Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar’s health condition has deteriorated again, she is in critical condition and on a ventilator. She is still in ICU and will remain under the observation of doctors. Dr. Pratit Samdani of the Breach Candy Hospital is currently treating her. Dr. Samdani stated that, “Lata Ji is under strict observation. She remains in a delicate condition.”
In early January, when she tested positive for Covid-19, she was admitted to City Hospital. She also suffered from pneumonia then. She had mild symptoms and keeping her age in mind, she was admitted to ICU and had shown improvements. Later in January, the ventilator was taken off
as well.
Talking about her health condition, a family member wrote on her Twitter handle, “Lata didi is doing much better and since she is a singer, you know how they have a huge lung capacity. Above all, she is a fighter but we cannot say when she will be discharged as COVID protocols need to be followed.”
