One of the most remarkable films of Ananya Panday, ‘Khaali Peeli’ has completed two years on October 2, which was released in 2020. The film also starred Ishaan Khatter, opposite Ananya and the chemistry between the duo was well received by the audiences. The duo had collaborated for the first time and instantly became a hit jodi.
Even the songs, “Duniya Sharma Jayegi” and “Tahas Nahas” have also become one of the most chartbusters in 2020. Although at first “Duniya Sharma Jayegi” was named as “Beyoncé Sharma Jayegi” and therefore, the song suffered severe controversies among netizens. Hence later, the makers changed its name to “Duniya Sharma Jayegi” and the song garnered huge appreciation.
The story of ‘Khaali Peeli’ is about two childhood sweethearts, Pooja (Ananya Panday) and Blackie (Ishaan Khatter), who get separated due to certain circumstances. Years later, when Pooja escapes from the brothel, where she is forced to work, she bumps into Blackie, who is now a taxi driver and thus begins a naughty romance between them.
On the occasion of ‘Khaali Peeli’s second anniversary, Ananya Panday said that she felt nostalgic remembering the experience.
Ananya shared a clip from the film on her Instagram story, where we can see her in the avatar of her character Pooja. She can be seen dancing on the song “Duniya Sharma Jayegi” and “Tahas Nahas” playing in the background. She wrote in the video, “2 years” along with a white heart.
Ananya Panday made her debut in 2019 with ‘Student Of The Year 2’ and seems like ‘Khaali Peeli’ has become one of her favourites.
