Jimmy Fallon has been receiving too much hatred and backlashes from his own crew members. According to the staff members, ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ has a toxic work environment that includes random outbursts from Fallon himself.

Two employees even claimed that they witnessed Jimmy berating another member, who was holding cue cards during a taping of the show with actor Jerry Seinfeld as a guest. They said that the incident was not included in the version of the show that aired on TV.

Interestingly, Jerry Seinfeld absolutely denied all these allegations. Rather he finds the claims “idiotic twisting of events.” To Variety, the comedian said, “This is so stupid. I remember this moment quite well. I teased Jimmy about a flub and we all had a fun laugh about how rarely Jimmy is thrown off. It was not uncomfortable at all. Jimmy and I still occasionally recall it and laugh. Idiotic twisting of events.”

However, Fallon has already apologised to his crew members. Calling the matter “embarrassing”, he expressed his sorrow. He told Variety, “Sorry if I embarrassed you and your family and friends. I feel so bad I can’t even tell you. I want this show to be fun, it should be inclusive for everybody, it should be funny, it should be the best show, the best people.”

Many claimed that this toxic behaviour had also occurred previously and hence Fallon replaced Jay Leno in 2014. Currently ‘The Tonight Show’ has been paused due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.
