Post triumphing upon the hearts of people, singers Shaan, Babul Supriyo and Javed Ali were rehearsing for “Rehmatein 2” where they will pay tribute to the late ghazal maestro legendary Jagjit Singh. The evening will be hosted by E-Bizz Entertainment India Pvt. Ltd – spearheaded by Saurabh Daftary and Smita Parikh.
The soul motive of the concert is to raise funds for old and needy people from the music fraternity through a renowned trust “Sangeetam”. The donees’ names are decided by a panel of eminent personalities like Hariharan, Suresh Wadkar, Shaan and Javed Ali. “Rehmatein 2” is a tribute to the Legendary Ghazal Singer Padmabhushan Janab Jagjit Singh Sahab, with performances by legendary singers like Hariharan, Javed Ali, Suresh Wadkar and Shaan who will only sing Jagjit Singh’s Ghazals.
