The 32-year-old singer is rumoured to be secretly engaged with English actor, Joe Matthew Alwyn by The Sun, although the couple hasn’t announced anything yet officially.
Till now the couple was only seen together a handful of times on the red carpets and not outside anywhere, ever since they started dating in 2016. Despite their huge fan following and numerous eyes on them, the couple has been very private and managed to keep their relationship under the radar. Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn were rumoured to have met first time at the Met Gala in 2016 and since then, they have been a perfectly happy couple for the past 6 years.
Recently, a source revealed the news of their engagement to The Sun and shared, “Taylor and Joe are incredibly happy and very, very in love. They’ve actually been engaged for a few months but have only told their inner-inner circle, basically immediate family and trusted, very old friends. Everyone has been sworn to secrecy, too.”
“Taylor has a beautiful ring, but she only wears it when she’s at home, behind closed doors. Again, only a handful of people know details about the wedding and Taylor hasn’t even told some of her team about the engagement. They want their love to stay away from the cameras as much as possible. This is just for them. And if and when they do exchange vows, there most definitely won’t be any Vogue, Rolling Stone or Hello! Magazines there. It will be simple and elegant, like them”, the source further added.
We did not get any specific details about the wedding and also it’s not known yet, whether the couple will officially confirm their engagement news or not, although the leaked news already made Taylor’s fans go gaga over it on social media.
