‘Dhamaal’ is undoubtedly one of the most successful comedy franchises of Hindi cinema. The previous films in the series like ‘Dhamaal’ (2007), ‘Double Dhamaal’ (2011) and ‘Total Dhamaal’ (2019), received acclaim and also box office success. As per recent reports, the makers are contemplating a fourth film in the comedy genre. The last film, which included Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit along with the original cast, was the biggest hit of the series, grossing over Rs. 150 Crore at the box office. Reportedly, the makers are looking to bring Ajay back for the fourth chapter.
The reports claim that director Indra Kumar, who is eager to collaborate with Ajay Devgn once again, has already started working on the film, and has come up with a great idea for the fourth installment. Ajay would probably receive the narration from the director soon in the coming days.
If all goes well and Ajay accepts to come on board for this film, it will be the fifth time the two will collaborate. The two have previously worked on ‘Thank God’ (2022), ‘Total Dhamaal’ (2019), ‘Masti’ (2004) and ‘Ishq’ (1997).
