“I have written a film for late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, will start work on it soon”, says director Raaj Shaandilyaa

Raaj Shaandilyaa, film director and producer, recently made a major announcement on his social media account, remembering actor Sushant Singh Rajput and his plans to start work on a film that he wrote for the late actor.

He started by saying, “I didn’t know Sushant much, but what I know about him is sufficient.” Raaj further revealed that he had written a film for Sushant, which did not materialize. He added that the script written for him is one of his favourite subjects, and he will begin working on it soon.

Talking about the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput made his foray into Hindi films with ‘Kai Po Che’ (2013) and acted in some big and successful films like ‘PK’ (2014), ‘M S Dhoni – The Untold Story’ (2016) and Chhichhore (2019). The actor was found dead at his Bandra home in Mumbai on June 14, 2020. He was last seen in ‘Dil Bechara’ (2020) aired on Disney+ Hotstar.

Raaj Shaandilyaa is best known for directing the Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrratt Bharuccha-starrer ‘Dream Girl’ (2019). At present, the filmmaker is busy with the post-production of the sequel, ‘Dream Girl 2’, which has Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday in lead roles.
