Heropanti 2 Movie Review

‘Heropanti 2’ is a typical entertainment film with action, drama and Shroff’s crisp six-pack abs paired with music and romance. Tiger Shroff is given the task to prevent the world’s biggest cybercrime and get hold of Nawazuddin Siddiqui who is the mastermind behind it. Shroff is a ‘one-man army’ engaging in high-octane stunts to protect everyone. The movie even features the famous chess board and huge metal warriors from Harry Potter and replicates the scene to a huge extent.

The first half of the movie is a bit slow but the second half has a lot of action and stunts that would be a delight for any Tiger Shroff fan. The action sequences are so larger than life that even after a huge explosion, Tiger survives and his mobile phone is also fine. The audience would find it difficult to sit through such senseless scenes. Rajat Arora’s writing not only lacks realism but makes the movie dumb and illogical.

The screenplay however keeps one engaged with questions that solve in layers as the plot unfolds. Tara Sutaria and Shroff’s chemistry was flat; however, it helps maintain the glamour quotient in the film. The plot is predictable while the dialogues are entertaining.

The music is not as expected from ‘the’ A.R Rahman. It’s heart-breaking. Not one track will feel attractive though the choreography is. Not to miss, Shroff’s dance moves which are brilliant as usual.

If one is looking for something meaningful and deep, then this movie is definitely not for you. However, if one simply wants to be entertained with some thrilling Indianised actions, then there is a lot to dig in.
