Here’s the reason why Salman Khan doesn’t want any National Award!

Salman Khan is arguably the most successful commercial actor the Hindi film and entertainment industry has ever seen. Having started with ‘Biwi Ho Toh Aisi’ (1988) and then getting his major break with ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’ (1989), Salman has only grown higher and higher in stature and position. From starting from the scratches to now having positioned himself as the ‘Blockbuster King’ of Bollywood, Bollywood’s beloved ‘Bhai’ has come a long way forward.

Be it action or comedy or tragedy, Salman Khan has managed to do it all over the years and has been successful.

Some of his biggest commercial movies have been ‘Dabangg’, ‘Dabangg 2’, ‘Bodyguard’, ‘Ready’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Sultan’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and many more. And now he is gearing up for ‘Bharat’ which has blockbuster written all over it.

But there’s something he hasn’t got yet. A National Award. While many dream day in day out to get a National Award, Salman’s version of National Award is a bit different and he doesn’t want the ‘regular’ award.

On being asked why he doesn’t want one, he says that there’s no bigger award than the entire audience watching your film at the cinemas. For him that’s his National Award. He also added that he doesn’t believe in awards and believes in ‘rewards’.

Well if that is Salman’s version of National Award, then we believe he has too many National Awards already and they are already too much to fit into his little space at his abode of heaven, Galaxy Apartments.
