Helmed by SiddharthSengupta, ‘Good luck Jerry’, is a dark comedy with twists and turns starring Janhvi Kapoor as Jaya Kumari. Jaya seems to be an innocent woman who, in order to run her family, does odd jobs. Her mother is suffering from cancer and she not only runs the family but is also saving up to treat her.
Deepak Dobriyal and Sushant Singh are also seen in pivotal roles. The movie is pitched as a crime comedy and also has an interesting angle on drugs.
The movie is said to be an adaptation of the Tamil feature ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’ (2018), whose plot is centered around drug smuggling. ‘Good luck Jerry’will be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar on July 29.
