George and Amal Clooney’s star-studded wedding marks seven years

The celebrity power couple George Clooney and Amal Clooney tied the knot on 27Th September, 2014. It’s been seven years of their star-studded wedding. George Clooney was known as one of the most scandalous and handsome bachelors, after he got divorced with Talia Balsam in 1993.

The actor finally met Amal Clooney in 2013, who is a Lebanese-British barrister. Their whole wedding ceremony was a huge splash and as spectacular as a red-carpet event. The couple went on a boat to the city hall building in Venice, where the wedding was conducted. George Clooney was dressed in a grey suit and Amal Clooney wore a casual white outfit and a wide-brimmed sunhat.

At the city hall, the couple officially married under Italian law by former mayor of Rome, Walter Veltroni. The whole wedding ceremony cost $4.6 million overall.

Amal Clooney wanted her wedding to be romantic and memorable and for that she was seen in designer Oscar de la Renta’s New York showroom for her glorious wedding dress. The dress was fully covered with layers of ivory tulle appliquéd with fourteen yards of Chantilly lace, hands embroidered with beading and crystals along with a cathedral-length veil. It looked absolutely stunning on her.

But, before their wedding, George and Amal Clooney had an absolute blast on their bachelor and bachelorette party, which held on 26th September, 2014. On that day, Amal wore a red cocktail dress by designer Sarah Burton and went to Aman Canal Grande Venice hotel, where they spent the whole evening.

The seven-star hotel, Aman Canal Grande Venice was covered with white roses, hydrangeas and lilies. The wedding party kept going on till 5am the next morning. On the next day, the newly-wedded couple had a toasting party with their friends and family at the Cipriani Hotel.

George and Amal Clooney welcomed their twins’ children, Alexander and Ella Clooney 4 years ago.
