S. Sashikanth, YNOT Studios says, “We always knew that ‘Game Over’ had content with the potential to create a strong universal appeal, because it is an experience based movie that is language neutral, and deals with very human emotions. And we are delighted to see how Anurag Kashyap has really taken this experience to a wider audience, by mentoring this project in Hindi.”

Shibasish Sarkar, Group CEO Reliance Entertainment says – “Top notch film-making coupled with Taapsee Pannu’s pan-Indian stature, and Anurag Kashyap coming on board to give the right amount of fine-tuning and creative intervention it requires to suit the Hindi audiences, is just the perfect thing for ‘Game Over’. All of us are excited about this film”.

Introducing Indian audiences to a genre-bending thriller, ‘Game Over’, headlined by powerhouse performer Taapsee Pannu and directed by Ashwin Saravanan is a game changer not just because of its edge-of-the-seat content but also with its never-seen-before treatment.

Says director Ashwin Saravanan, “The kick of doing a contained thriller lies in the challenges it poses, in terms of writing & directing. The aim was always to deliver a rich cinematic experience that has an universal appeal. The very nature of the film helped us cross over to the Hindi language easily. “

Adds Taapsee Pannu, “‘Game Over’ has a much nuanced format of storytelling. Very rarely do you find a film that has so much cross-over potential and the ability to draw you in irrespective of which corner of the country you belong to.”

‘Game Over’ will release worldwide in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on the 14 June 2019.
