Bhuj: The Pride of India Trailer Review

Directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ is a war period drama. The much-awaited movie features Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha, Ammy Virk, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar in lead roles.

The movie is about 1971 India-Pakistan infamous war when Pakistan attacked the Bhuj airbase under operation Chengiz Khan, more than 14 napalm bombs were dropped on an IAF strip in Bhuj. It is a story about 300 Gujarati women, who were brave enough and helped the Indian Airforce during the war.

The trailer is about 3 minutes long. It starts with firing bombs from air raids. The dialogues are much impressive. Every actor Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharad Kelkar speaks in a rhetoric manner and even Nora Fatehi gets to have her moment. The aerial attacks of the planes and the slow-motion shots of soldiers fighting scenes are done with efficiency.

Ajay Devgn has played the role of IAF squadron leader Vijay Kumar Karnik. Sanjay Dutt will be seen as an Indian army scout Ranchordas Pagi. Sonakshi Sinha as a Gujrati woman and social worker Sunderben Jetha Madharparya, Ammy Virk as a flight officer Vikram Singh Baj Jethaaz, Nora Fatehi as a spy Heena Rahman and Sharad Kelkar as a military officer Ram Karan Nair. Overall, the trailer gives us goosebumps. Hope the movie will steal our hearts.

The film will be releasing on 13th August, 2021 on Disney+ Hotstar due to the second wave of the pandemic.
