Some movies touches your heart and lives forever in your mind for rest of your life. ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is the kind of movie belonging to this group. This movie spreads love between people. Humanity is everything. Filmmaker Kabir Khan has done a great job and this movie will be remembered as one of the most memorable movies in Indian Cinema. ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has the stamp of filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani but Kabir Khan has also left his imprint in his style. We saw what character of Munna Bhai did for Sanjay Dutt in Rajkumar Hirani’s films and same can be expected from the character of Bajraangi for Salman Khan. We generally have seen very thin storylines with recent Salman Khan starrers but this movie has a beautiful story to tell. Salman Khan should do more movies with better storylines and he can make bigger impact as a megastar.

Cinematography is top notch. The film has been shot extremely well. Kashmir is looking awesome. The locations of the film are great and complement the story of the film. The music of the film suits the film and it is not the typical Salman Khan type. The songs go well with the situations of the film. It doesn’t look to be forced into the story. The film could have had crispier editing and could have been shorter by ten minutes. Salman Khan as a producer has not been finicky and the movie has been made in large canvas.

The child artiste Harshali Malhotra is the lifeline of the film. She is such a cute and adorable child. Her smile can melt anyone. Her chemistry with Bhaijaan is sweet, honest and real. There is innocence and no over the top acting. She is at ease at emotional scenes also. Kareena Kapoor’s role may be more of an extended cameo but she has played her part well despite knowing the movie is about Salman Khan and child artist Harshali. Om Puri has a couple of scenes but leaves his impact in the role. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is a scene stealer and brings lots of energy and humour to the film. He is one of finest actors in our country. It is nice to watch him in such a positive role as a Pakistani journalist. His chemistry with Salman Khan and the kid is the high point of the film.

What to say about Salman Khan? We have seen him in part of successful romantic films, classic comedies and high voltage action films. He has also been part of family dramas but Salman Khan has never played an emotional character to such an extent. The closest would be ‘Tere Naam’. The role of Pavan Kumar Chaturvedi aka Bajraangi allows him to go in that space. This is most emotional role played by him and he has done a good job. With characters like Prem, Chulbul Pandey and Radhey, Salman Khan had grown his fans over the years and but this character of Bajrangi will increase his fan base. This is most memorable role of his career and we will not be surprised, if he is awarded with best actor next year. This role makes him a complete actor now.

The storyline goes between two countries India and Pakistan, which have been sworn enemies in reality but who can have been easily been friends. This movie can surely help better relations between two countries. Films are good medium to reach out good messages. This film is not preachy but still the message goes clearly in an entertaining way. There is no India or Pakistan bashing in the film. Humanity raises above all. Bajrangi Bhaijaan only spreads love.
