Badhaai Ho Quick Movie Review

Touted as a fun family saga, the movie works primarily because of its crazy sense of humour, done in an unusual way aimed at stirring uncomfortable situations. The reactions to situations, the social message and the uneasy moments make it worthwhile to watch as the audience easily relates to those scenes. Free from stereotypes and clichés, the cast helps to translate a simple story into an amazing performance. Ayushman Khurana, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Surekha Sikri perform really well and have surpassed all expectations. Sanya Malhotra is wasted. Despite its tight script, the music blends at most places. Director Sharma manages to transmit a social message while exploring relationships in a totally naughty and interesting manner, keeping the funny and light moments flowing till the end.
