Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘thanksgiving’ to John Abraham for 7 years of Vicky Donor

Ayushmann Khurrana today might be one of the busiest actors in the Indian film industry but the journey hasn’t been easy at all for this talented soul.

Ayushmann started with the reality show ‘Roadies’ before slowly moving into the anchoring arena of the first ever season of the DLF IPL (Indian Premier League) in 2008 from where he started getting a lot of recognition because obviously cricket in India isn’t just a sport but a religion. Ayushmann did a brilliant job as an anchor for the DLF IPL and it was probably there itself where John Abraham and Shoojit Sircar saw the makings of a terrific actor in him.

And then came the break Ayushmann might have desired for all his life – ‘Vicky Donor’. The film is a memorable one not because of Ayushmann, John or Yami but because of the quirky story the film has.

It’s been seven years since ‘Vicky Donor’ and today Ayushmann has grown from strength to strength to become what he is today. The year 2018 has been prolific for the young star where his last two films, ‘Andhadhun’ and ‘Badhaai Ho’ were both received well by the audience. And now he is currently busy shooting for Anubhav Sinha’s next where he will be playing the role of a cop for the first time.

But as they say, never forget your roots. That’s the reason probably Ayushmann got emotional and couldn’t thank John Abraham and Shoojit Sircar enough for ‘Vicky Donor’. John Abraham being the humble and motivating man that he is was all praises for Ayushmann to make him understand how special he is to him.

We wish Ayushmann Khurrana many more years of success and accomplishments.
