Amol Parashar to judge a national storytelling event

Actor Amol Parashar who is a famous name amongst the young audiences of the country will now be using his knack of storytelling to promote young storytellers by judging a National Storytelling Event. The event is organized by the Mumbai based group Kommune, which is a platform for storytelling, poetry, music and performance arts. Kommune has been a leading name in promoting and popularizing these artforms amongst young people. This event is particularly known for showcasing stories from across the country and the world for half-a-decade.

Earlier this year, Amol had performed a story at Spoken Fest organized by Kommune in Mumbai. The story was a huge hit and the video had gone viral online, exposing another brilliant facet of his talent to his fans.

Amol will be judging the storytelling event, titled the National Story Slam, alongside other judges like Kalki Koechlin, Danish Husain, Smriti Kiran, Roshan Abbas and Tess Joseph. The event will be a showcase of some of India’s best storytellers.
