Amazon Prime Video announces the release date of Vikramaditya Motwane’s web series Jubilee

On Friday morning, March 17, Amazon Prime Video took to their Twitter handle and announced the release date of their prestigious project, ‘Jubilee’, a magnum opus web series which was announced last year in the month of April. Said to be set in newly independent India, the show is a fictional period drama that unmasks the rise of Bollywood.

The makers aim to take viewers on interesting journey of Bollywood by unveiling rise of Cinema through the show.

The show ‘Jubliee’ is made on a big budget and lavish scale and will be a two-part multi-starrer, with the first part of the show releasing on April 7. The makers have got a massive star cast for the show, which comprising Prosenjit Chatterjee, Aditi Rao Hydari, Ram Kapoor, Wamiqa Gabbi, Aparshakti Khurana, Siddhant Gupta, Shweta Basu Prasad, Nandish Sandhu and Sukhmanee Lamba.

‘Jubilee’ is jointly produced by Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Studios. It is written by Atul Sabharwal, and Vikramaditya Motwane is assigned as the director, while Amit Trivedi has scored the music for the show.
