Ajay Devgn completes 30 years in the industry

Ajay Devgn celebrates 30 years of his stepping into the Hindi film industry. Debutant in ‘Phool Aur Kaante’ (1991) he still continues to be a superstar. Looking back at the 3-decade long journey of Devgn in the industry, his friends and co-stars have wished him on this day. His wife, Kajol has also congratulated him and expressed how proud she is of him.

Ajay was originally named Vishal Veeru Devgan. His father, Veeru Devgan was a stunt choreographer and action-film director and his mother, Veena, is a film producer. In 1995 during the shoot of ‘Gundaraj’ he and Kajol came into a relationship and later got married in 1999. They have two children, Nysa and Yug.

He rose to fame with his action thrillers such as ‘Jigar’ (1992), ‘Dilwale’ (1994), ‘Zakham’ (1998), ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ (1999) and many more. His last release ‘Tanhaji’ (2020) became one of the highest hits of the box office. The ‘Singham’ (2011) superhero is a household name after playing a cop in that Rohit Shetty franchise. The actor also announced his upcoming projects ‘Thank God’ which is going to release in 2022 and has been a part of the recently released ‘Sooryavanshi’ (2021).

The actor, director and producer has appeared in over a hundred Hindi films. He owns a production company, Ajay Devgn FFilms and has debuted as a film director with ‘U Me Aur Hum’ (2008). It was his father, Veeru Devgan’s dream to launch him as an actor. He didn’t just limit himself to Bollywood but released his first Marathi production ‘Aapla Manus’ (2018).

The actor has also given us some movies which were flops, ‘Insan’ (2004), ‘Tango Charlie’ (2005), ‘Omkara’ (2006), ‘London Dreams’ (2010). However, he never stopped. He come up with better movies and proved himself every time.
