Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan to reportedly join hands with director Vikas Bahl for the remake of the Gujarati supernatural thriller, Vash

Ajay Devgn is all set to enter the supernatural thriller genre after a long time. The actor, who had previously worked with Panorama Studios on many projects including last year’s blockbuster ‘Drishyam 2’ (2022), is reportedly teaming up with the production company once again for an upcoming movie which is said to be a Hindi remake of the Gujarati film ‘Vash’ (2023). It will be directed by Vikas Bahl.

The film is currently under pre-production and its principal photography reportedly will begin in June in Mumbai, Mussoorie and London. Ajay Devgn, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak are producing the untitled film under the banners of Ajay Devgn Ffilms and Panorama studios. Reports also claim that R. Madhavan is a part of the cast.

This will the third time that Ajay Devgn will be working in the supernatural thriller genre. Previously, he had acted in horror films like ‘Bhoot’ (2003) and ‘Kaal’ (2005).

Talking about the actor’s work front, Ajay Devgn will be next seen in Boney Kapoor and Amit Sharma’s sports drama ‘Maidaan’ which will be releasing this year. He is currently shooting for Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ which teams up him with Tabu for the tenth time and it also stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Saiee Manjrekar and Shantanu Maheshwari.

Ajay is also expected to begin shooting for the third installment of ‘Singham’ with director Rohit Shetty from August this year.
