After the Oscar win of Naatu Naatu, Jr. NTR gets invited to join Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as a member

Currently busy shooting for his highly anticipated next ‘Devara’, Jr. NTR has become a global phenomenon post the massive success of ‘RRR’ (2022). After walking the prestigious Academy Awards Red Carpet earlier this year for “Naatu Naatu” Oscar win, the actor has now been invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which is the organization behind the Oscars as a new member.

The Academy has added over three hundred and ninety eight new members, including various Indian and International celebrities. The list includes Taylor Swift, Ke Huy Qwan, Mani Ratnam, Karan Johar and many others.

As a member, NTR will now have have several roles to perform towards the Academy. This sure comes as great news for the actor and his millions of fans as NTR further has some exciting projects lined up as well.

On the work front, the 40-year-old actor is reuniting with ace director Koratala Siva for the magnum opus ‘Devara’, which is currently being shot in Hyderabad. The film is slated to hit the screens on April 5, 2024. He will also be working with ‘KGF’ (2018) director Prashanth Neel for ‘NTR 31’ which goes on floors in March 2024.
