Actor Jatin Goswami talks about being a part of Zee5’s Skyfire

Jatin Goswami who was last seen in ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’ and ‘Hum Chaar’ is all set to make his debut in the digital world, will be seen in the first sci fi thriller web series called ‘Skyfire’ on Zee5. It is being launched on 22 May. The show also features Prateik Babbar, Sonal Chauhan and Jishu Sengupta.

On talking about his experience on working with Pratiek, “It was a very special experience working on ‘Skyfire’. We started with some extremely intense reading sessions that would go on all day. Must say our director Soumik Sen is a dream to work with. He guided us with a lot of patience and love.

By the time we came to shooting we all were so in sync with each other.
Prateik is extremely warm and a blessed soul. He has the gift of surprising you in the shot with his performance. Jishuda is like an elder brother to me – always protective and guiding me. I’m so happy to have got the opportunity to work with them.”

On talking about his role he shared, “It is an out and out science fiction full of action and thrill. But the story has its humane side which everyone will relate to. The changing weather conditions all over the world.. how over the last few years the climate change has been so obvious. Never thought that such drastic change could be experienced in ones lifetime… but still some of us are not even ready to acknowledge this problem. So yes ACP Hassan the character I play finds himself stuck in situations where he is on the opposite side of the system. And then how an upright brutally honest cop fights his way out.”

“Personally I feel that this story is important to tell because it emphasizes on the relationship we have with nature. How we’ve been taking it for granted for too long and if we don’t stop now what could be the consequences. I am excited to bring these themes to the new generation of viewers,” he further adds.
