Keanu Reeves is all ready to take our breath away again with his upcoming popular film ‘John Wick 4’. Just three months ago, the makers dropped the striking trailer of the film, which has literally doubled our excitement with Reeve’s famous gun-fu action.

Even though Keanu has given numerous prodigious films like ‘Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure’ (1989) film series, ‘The Matrix’ (1999) film series, ‘Constantine’ (2005), ‘Street Kings’ (2008), etc., ‘John Wick’ (2014) is that one film series which has a special place in our hearts and Reeves with his actions cannot be replaced.

Seems like even for Keanu, ‘John Wick’ is one of the most cherished projects. Recently in an interview with Wired, Reeves shared that he is quite terrified with deepfake technology being used in the industry.

The actor even revealed that whenever he signs a project, he makes a prior deal with the makers to prevent digitally manipulating his performances. He said, “Yeah, digitally. I don’t mind if someone takes a blink out during an edit. But early on, in the early 2000s, or it might have been the ’90s, I had a performance changed. They added a tear to my face, and I was just like, ‘Huh?!’ It was like, I don’t even have to be here.”

While talking about deepfake technology, Reeves further shared that it’s quite frustrating and scary for him to lose agency, “When you give a performance in a film, you know you’re going to be edited, but you are participating in that. If you go into deepfake land, it has none of your points of view. That’s scary. It’s going to be interesting to see how humans deal with these technologies. They’re having such cultural, sociological impacts, and the species is being studied. There is so much data on behaviors now.”

Directed by Chad Stahelski, starring Keanu Reeves, Donnie Yen, Scott Adkins, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne, Lance Reddick and Rina Sawayama, ‘John Wick 4’ is all set to release on March 24, 2023.
